Denize Pineda Amorsolo celebrated her 18th birthday with a dance party held last September 13, 2008 at the Rib Eye Function Hall in Balibago, Angeles City. It was a night of dancing and merry-making for all her relatives and friends from Brightwoods School, St. Scholastica’s Academy and De La Salle University.
The only daughter of entrepreneurs Manuel and Aida Amorsolo, Denize is presently a student at the De La Salle University taking up Computer Science with Specialization in Network Engineering. Since she is very busy with her studies in Manila, her mom Aida Pineda-Amorsolo was the one who took care in planning everything for the party. She approached me months before Denize’s debut since she has attended several of our events. After some consultations, we cam up with a plan to host dance-themed party since Denize is a talented dancer.
That night, she entered the ballroom escorted by her two brothers Joshua and Elijah as her parents welcomed her at the dance floor. Then the traditional 18 roses ceremony immediately followed. Denize also had the traditional 18 candles. The guests were serenaded by Chiro Acoustic Band as they enjoyed the sumptuous meal prepared by
Rib Eye.
Talented event stylist Pancho Pantig of Plumeria transformed the entire hall into a fabulous dance venue with crystal bead curtains and fabric drapes. Instead of flowers, May Rivera of Cakes and More created chocolate cupcakes as table centerpieces which the guests enjoyed while waiting for the program to start.
What made the event interesting were the hip-hop dance numbers performed by Denize and some of her dancer friends. It was a mini dance concert wherein everyone was cheering and stomping their feet. The dance groups were BWS, DENZITY, and JMT DANCERS. An acoustic song number was also performed by her friends from La Salle. They did an original composition for Denize. After the program, DJ KIKOMAN pumped-up the volume and had everyone on the dance floor.
For Denize, her dream of a great party came true as she had the party she envisioned that everybody was well-entertained and had participated in the entire event. .
